What is stress?

Stress is an overwhelming feeling of abnormal pressure. It can stem from several different entities, from an everyday increased workload, to a transitional period. During your time of stress your body may create a ‘stress response’ which can cause a variety of physical symptoms, alter the way you behave, and lead you to experience much more intense or varying emotions. Stress can affect us in many ways, both emotionally and physically, in varying intensities.

How can I identify the signs of stress?

Stress affects everyone in different ways, but there are some common signs you can look out for:
